How To Install Tmodloader For Terraria On Mac
Go to this link and download (Windows/Mac/Linux) the latest version of tModLoader. The downloaded file will be Zip, so unzip all the files in a folder. Now copy all.
Since I've seen many people interested in mods/modding, I'm going to post a little tutorial. If this gets enough attention, I'll continue to get more complicated and in-depth. First, get a coding IDE, or basically an app that can open code. Two great ones are Visual Studio 2015 and Visual Studio Code. Links at the bottom. Note: VS Code needs an extension to run C#, the code you'll use. Just chose it at the bottom right as your coding language and hit 'Install' when the download window pops up.
Then, when done, go to tModLoader on the TCF Forums. Mac camera filters. Download it and install.
After that, also go into the same page and CTRL+F 'ExampleMod,' and download that. ExampleMod is an extremely useful base mod for starters, and helps you get through many things. I'd say mess around with random stuff in the 'Items' folder. Then, once your done with that, put the 'ExampleMod' folder into the newly made 'Terraria/ModLoader/ModSources' folder, then go into the new Terraria, signified by the Jungle tree instead of the normal one. Then, go into 'Mod Sources', click on 'ExampleMod,' and then 'Build and Reload.' Unless you made an error, it should compile - turn into a mod.
If it doesn't work, post the error below and I'll work it out. Your Welcome! - Gabe ============================ Links.
