I Recieved An Email From Facebook Email You A Login Alert For Chrome On Mac Os X
Hi Calvin, your internal wiki is using a self-signed certificate. I have tested on Firefox, and Safari, and all return the same error as Chrome. You may not be seeing the error in other browsers if you have already ignored the warning in those browsers. If you want the wiki to work without a warning, you will need to purchase a certificate. They are pretty cheap these days for websites like this. Alternately, if this is only accessed on work computers, you can install your company's cert onto those work computers as a trusted root.
Jul 07, 2016 facebook notification shows 'you received a new message' instead the preview of the text. As it did before. I have got the Mac OS X Mavericks and chrome browser. Something has changed this week or so because two week back it was fine. Click on Facebook and then make sure the alert style is set to 'Alerts'. This should now give you a.
Felt 5/9/2014, 16:32 น. My brother's laptop (HP 2000 with Windows 8) is having the same problem with that 'Your connection is not private' error. We can't even get ANY google pages at all, not gmail or search or help pages. Facebook won't load either unless we go on internet explorer but even then we keep getting certificate security warnings.
I've removed google chrome and restored the computer to earlier dates twice, ran a norton scan and malware bytes scan, nothing was found. I tried to find out if his google account has been hacked or compromised but can't even do that on there. Getting frustrated!! Is this a Google problem or a virus or a hacker??? Any help would be appreciated. Jaymie Baird 12/9/2014, 8:13 น.

Yavin Boodhun 13/9/2014, 13:49 น. Same problem happens for me when I visit Twitter and random sites on the net. There was a manual override that allowed you to proceed by typing specific words but that does not work anymore. The stupid thing about this 'problem' is that Chrome won't allow you to make the decision yourself for 'your own protection', even when you know that the website you're accessing does not have any valuable logins or details that could be used against maliciously. But I finally found an excellent solution for the problem. Works all of the time and does not require too much effort or any special knowledge about programming or the internet; Stop using Google Chrome.
Amnon100 17/9/2014, 3:30 น. My problems that day: everytime I tried to open gmail from Chrome or Explorer, I was told that my connection is not private (Chrome) or that there was a problem with the security of this website's certificate(Explorer).
It happened when I tried to open an old yahoo mail account too. It was happening with the gmail account when I was accessing it with my IPhone too. My computers all had the right date, I cleaned out my cache and cookies and even reset my browser settings for chrome. (My chrome version is version 37).
The fix for this problem is very simple. You just need to correct your computer's date and time using following steps: 1. Right-click on date and time shown in Taskbar notification area (aka System tray) and select ' Adjust date/time' option. 2. It'll open ' Date and Time' window. Alternatively you can directly open it by using timedate.cplcommand in RUN dialog box. 3. Now click on ' Change date and time' button and correct date and time settings.
4. Apply the changes and now try to open the HTTPS websites again in your web browser. Now all websites will open without any problem. Bonus Tip: If you have a working Internet connection, you can click on ' Internet Time' tab present in ' Date and Time' window and then click on ' Change settings' button, enable ' Synchronize with an Internet time server' checkbox and click on ' Update now' button. It'll automatically correct the date and time of your computer system. ' Hope this helps Cheers:) source: O atasi 26/9/2014, 6:36 น. What's the deal with HSTS? Here's the entire error message.
