We have the On Premises 15 server running and I have Skype for Business working properly on my Windows 7 machine. If I try to load Skype for Business on my Mac and log in on the network with my domain email (which works for my Win 7 machine) I get the message: 'We couldn't sign you in. Please check your sign-in info and try again. If the problem persists, contact your support team.' It then shows me a password window. If I put my domain password in and try to sign in I get the same message.
If I go into Advanced Options and put in my Domain User Name of DOMAIN USERNAME with Auto-Detect Server I get the same message. If I put in the IP address of the internal server and our external address (though our federation/EDGE server is not yet working) I get the message 'We can't sign you in. Check your network connection and try signing in again.' So we don't have external access to SFB set up yet, but we have it working internally for all the Windows users.
What am I missing to get this Mac Client up and running? (We don't use 365, we use Professional Plus). Hi Craig For better know your situation, and define whether your problem is a server issue, you need to check whether your colleagues have the same issue. I suggest that you can update to the latest version of Skype for business Mac client for your convenience. Based on the error ' We couldn't sign you in. Please check your sign-in info and try again', do you enter t he right user name and password? And about the error 'We can't sign you in.
Check your network connection and try signing in again. ' check your network connection. Regards, Gorden.
