I have a network user on Windows 7 that is not able to save to a specific network drive on his computer using work or excel 2016. He was able to save to this drive until recently and no changes have been made to the network drive. Group policy maps the same drives for all users in the domain. Here is what I have done to test; -repair Office -reinstall Office -he can save to this drive in other programs like Adobe, notepad, etc -he can save to another network drive using Excel and Word -logged in with another user (drives are automatically mapped) and encounter the same error in for his network drive as well -logged into another machine that has Office 2016 with this user and was able to save to the problematic network drive -rejoined his computer to the domain -booted Excel in safe mode and the same issue occurs Any other suggestions? From the context menu, then choose Word 2016 as the default application to open this type of files. Make sure to tick the checkbox of 'Use this app for all.docx files.' If this doesn't correct the issue, then I would suggest you repair Office installation from Control Panel, and see if issue persists.
